Nuvo Lighting 60/3128 Four Light Vanity Bathroom Mirror Light Fixture - Perfect for Modern Bathroom, Dressing Room & Makeup Area

BULB ISSUE: It certainly is elegant looking. We do like the look which matches our decor. It has some issues, the main one, and reason for 2 stars, is that Amazon lists, under "Specifications" that the unit uses EITHER 60w a19 bulbs or 13w t2 g24 bulbs. Before ordering, I did a quick search of the 60w a19 and they are regular energy type bulbs. So, we ordered the pendant and installed it only to find AFTER installation that the pendant uses PIN-type bulbs ONLY, specifically g24 bulbs. Very disappointing.And, you cannot DIM the lights unless you buy special g24 bulbs marked, "dimmable". But, if you search such bulbs, they do not dim all the way and have flicker problems, so we will not be getting those at this time. The unit came with 3 regular g24 pin-type bulbs.CONSTRUCTION: When we started installing the bulbs, 1 of the 3 bulbs did not fit because the bend of one of the metal end of the bulb was bent too close to the center of the pendant and thus there was not enough space for the base of the light bulb to be inserted. It is impossible to bend back by hand, and using any tools could break the delicate glass dome. After a few minutes we very carefully installed it but one will likely need pliers to remove it when replacing.INSTALLATION: For me, it was not a problem installing, because I am familiar with wiring. But, to get a nice chain effect, you will want to thread the wire through the loops of the chain. That will take a good hour or more. It is very tedious. Otherwise, we have no complaints concerning the overall installation.Now that it is up, it looks beautiful and looks like a 5-star light. Sadly, it did not come as advertised and there was a problematic construction issue.We bought 2 of these lights for our kitchen. They are very bright and very pretty. I wish they were a bit bigger, but that is no fault of the manufacter just a personal preference. The only problem we had is that one arrived with a broken glass globe :( I know it is just something that happens in shipping, it was just disappointing. I have turned in a return request to Amazon and hope we get it soon. I am trying to remodel my kitchen and was hoping to be done for Christmas, but it doesn't look like it will happen.We did some remodeling in the bathroom and I thought this light would be the perfect addition. I like a bright bathroom and this fit the bill, especially since I had painted the walls of our small powder room a dark grey. It is so bright that the light still bounces off the dark walls. Nice brushed nickel finish. Right in between modern and traditional. Pretty simple and understated and just beautiful.I cannot fault the merchant who sold this to us, as I did not read the return policy guidelines. We have always been able to return merchandise through Amazon, and I thought this would be the same; however, this merchant does not allow returns if you have installed the light. Unfortunately, we could not tell that it wouldn't provide enough light for our bathroom until is was installed. It seems that this is standard procedure for light fixtures. So, buyer beware.There is nothing mechanically wrong with the fixture, it just doesn't provide enough light. So, if you have a relatively small bathroom, this is the light for you! I just happen to have one for sale on Amazon. Image that!!Very nice light. As described...I think it’s even better in person lol! Very easy to install, took me no time to switch out the fixtures. Only downside is finding lightbulbs, not impossible but just can’t pick up at the local grocery store.Beautiful light, looks petty over vanity. Giving it a four because it doesn't fit very tight to rail behind it that attaches to the wall. Light bulbs are included and that's a plus, but not your normal bulbs. Over all pleased.look good, easy to install. the glass has a textured look like glass/ice with a bunch of scratches on it. you don't really see this unless its turned on. i like the look myself, but this isn't very clear in the picture in case so i figured i'd give people a heads up.a certain big hardware store is also selling lights that look almost identical to these, in the larger 12" form (2-pack for $20.) so i got 2 of these for the hallways and a 2-pack of the bigger ones for the back bedrooms. all match up well enough and cheap.It comes with CFL bulbs, they are VERY bright. It's too bad that CFLs cannot be dimmed, but that is not the the fault of the chandelier. It went together easy and it is a good size if you have a fairly low ceiling. Because it gives so much light, it will be great if one is doing homework or crafts beneath it. A good product.A wonderful accent to the renovated bathroom although the illumination is poor especially since there are 6 lights.June 28/16 Update July 17/16 Update #2 This is a disposable item as the light bulbs cannot be obtained. No hardware store or lighting store can locate these bulbs. I strongly encourage Amazon.ca to discontinue selling this item. I intend to remove it, toss it in the garbage and start again which is a complete waste of money.Red Alert::::::::::> The light bulbs cannot be replaced. The unit arrived with a defective light bulb so now the unit has 5 instead of 6 working light bulbs. Amazon Customer Service was super providing a Credit for the defective light bulb and offered to replace it - unfortunately, the electrician disposed of the packing materials...Love this light! For the price I was shocked at the quality. Easy install and looks great in the bathroom. Highly recommendLooks nice, too bad I only bought 1, the price it went up a lot.Very nice and large light!Good for the price.
