The material is quite sturdy and the assembly is simple. It has nearly minimal sawdust, which makes cleaning simpler and safer for children. The pink is quite girlie in appearance and of course we were expecting that for our girl. My daughter adores it and cannot wait to play once it is put together. Since her birthday is coming up, I decided to surprise her with this unicorn vanity table. We don't have a lot of space in the playroom or our living room so I was looking for a compact, wooden one. This table fits our needs and in the area that I want to put it in. The table is about 14" in width and 19" long. It is compact enough for us to fit it in the corner for my daughter. The chair is 10" by 11", which is perfect for a toddler.The packaging includes the main table and the seat of the chair already assembled - meaning that the small sides are already screwed on. You will also have to put together the drawer, the mirror on top and the legs to complete the table. For the chairs, you just need to attach the legs. Installation is simple since it only needs to be put a few pieces into place and then tighten the screws. Note that the chair does not have a back rest.Once installation is complete, my daughter was very excited to use it right away. She is 4.5 years old and is average height and weight. The chair holds steady and supports her weight just fine. She is able to sit on it and look straight into the mirror without hunching down. She loves that the set also comes with a headband and a few bows for her to use. She's been using the set every day to play with her dolls and pretend makeup. It is a very cute set for any toddlers who are into unicorns and pretend makeup. Great gift for the upcoming holiday season.This set is perfect it's not too big and not too small and easily fits into her room.
