Was well packaged. The glass shades are nice and heavy; they sit on top of a white "C" shaped metal piece, the bottom of which has a ring that fits over the socket, which is secured with another silver metal ring that screws onto the socket. The resulting look of the white ring with the silver ring is not attractive. It was too much trouble to get it back in the box so I kept it. Will probably spraypaint the silver screwdown rings white. One of the sockets was crooked as well.
